International S2100-S2300 Gauges & Switches

Frequently Asked Questions About International S2100-S2300 Gauges & Switches

Will these gauges and switches fit both the S2100 and S2300 models?

Most parts in this category are designed to fit the S2100 and S2300 series dash and switch panel layouts, but exact fitment can vary depending on the model year and original dash configuration of your truck. Always check the product listing for specific year ranges and compare part numbers or panel hole sizes to your existing setup before ordering.

How do I know if a gauge or switch is a direct OEM replacement?

Look at the product description for OEM part number cross-references or "replaces" listings. Many gauges and switches are built to match the original factory look, wiring, and mounting style, but if your dash has been modified or previously replaced with aftermarket parts, double-check wiring connectors and gauge face style to confirm a proper match.

What do I need to check before replacing a gauge myself?

Before swapping a gauge, confirm the sending unit type (mechanical vs. electrical) matches your truck's existing setup, since gauges are not always interchangeable between the two. It also helps to note how the old gauge is wired and mounted so you can match connectors and confirm the replacement uses the same electrical range or ohm rating.

Are these switches simple plug-and-play, or is wiring required?

Many replacement switches use the same connector and mounting style as the factory original, allowing for a straightforward swap. However, some switches may require you to transfer wiring terminals or splice connections, so it is a good idea to review the product details and have basic wiring tools on hand just in case.

What finish and quality options are available for gauges and switch bezels?

Gauges and switches in this category are typically offered with factory-style finishes to match the original dash appearance, and some switch bezels or trim pieces may be available in chrome or painted options. If appearance matching is important, compare the listing photos closely to your current dash trim before purchasing.
