International 9900/i/ix Mirrors & Acc.

Frequently Asked Questions About International 9900/i/ix Mirrors & Acc.

Will these mirrors and mirror accessories fit my International 9900, 9900i, or 9900ix?

Products in this category are designed to fit the International 9900, 9900i, and 9900ix models, but mirror arm length, mounting bracket style, and heated/power wiring configurations can vary by production year. Always check the fitment notes on each product listing and compare them to your truck's existing mirror setup before ordering.

What material and finish options are available for these mirrors?

You will typically find mirror heads, arms, and brackets available in chrome-plated steel or stainless steel, along with black powder-coated options. Chrome and stainless finishes offer a polished look and are easy to wipe down, while black finishes can help hide road grime and minor scratches over time.

Are heated and remote-control mirror features included, or sold separately?

Some mirror assemblies come with heating elements or motorized remote adjustment built in, while others are standard manual mirrors without those features. Be sure to read the product description carefully to confirm whether wiring harnesses, switches, or connectors are included or need to be purchased separately.

Do I need any special tools or professional help to install a replacement mirror or bracket?

Most mirror arms, heads, and brackets bolt on using basic hand tools like wrenches and sockets. If your mirror includes heating or power adjustment features, you may also need to reconnect or splice wiring, which some drivers prefer to have done by a technician to ensure the electrical connections are secure and weatherproof.

How do I know if I need a full mirror assembly or just a replacement part like a mirror head, arm, or bracket?

If only the glass or mirror head is cracked or worn but the arm and bracket are still solid, you can often save money by replacing just that component. However, if the mounting arm is bent, rusted, or the bracket is damaged, replacing the full assembly may provide a more reliable, longer-lasting fix.
