Shop Kenworth W900 Drop Visors for W900B & W900L Trucks

Upgrade your truck’s front-end style with a Kenworth W900 drop visor, including pre-cut lighted visors that let you install miniature Kenworth w900 cab lights for added personalization.

Kenworth W900 Flat Glass Visor Options

Unlike Kenworth W900A visors, which have different roof caps and mount points, these visor designs fit older make years of the W900B and W900L trucks. Popular options include stainless steel drop visors, blind-mount visors, factory-style bracket visors, bowtie visors, reverse bowtie visors, and louvered visor designs. These options are ideal for drivers who want precise fitment, polished stainless styling, clean mounting, and a traditional W900 appearance.

If you are shopping for a W900B visor for a restoration or classic custom build, confirm your windshield type, mounting setup, and bracket compatibility before ordering. Flat-glass W900 models often require more specific fitment than newer curved windshield trucks, making product details like drop size, mount type, and year range especially important.

W900L Visors for Curved Windshield & AeroCab Builds

For newer W900L visor applications and W900B/W900L AeroCab trucks, curved windshield visor options give your truck a bolder custom look. Choose from straight drop, wicked drop, gangster drop, V-drop, lighted, bowtie, and reverse bowtie visor styles to match your exterior build. A lighted W900L visor can add serious nighttime presence, while a polished stainless drop visor keeps the truck’s profile clean, classic, and road-ready.

Whether you are building a daily hauler, a polished owner-operator rig, or a full show-truck setup, a drop visor is one of the easiest ways to personalize your Kenworth W900. Complete your exterior upgrade with W900B and W900L Kenworth grilles, a blind-mount W900B bumper, and polished W900B/W900L chrome mirrors.

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenworth W900B/W900L Visors

Will these visors fit my specific year and model Kenworth W900B or W900L?

Our Kenworth W900B/W900L visors are designed to fit most model years from 1987 to present. However, there are some variations between early and late models. W900B models (1987-2006) typically use the same mounting brackets, while W900L models may have slight differences in cab roof angles. We recommend verifying your truck's exact year and checking the product description for specific compatibility notes, or contacting our support team with your OEM for confirmation.

What's the difference between stainless steel and fiberglass visors, and which should I choose?

Stainless steel visors offer superior durability and a classic chrome finish that won't fade or crack. They're heavier (typically 15-25 lbs) but provide excellent longevity. Fiberglass visors are lighter (8-15 lbs), more affordable, and available in various colors and finishes including painted options. Choose stainless for long-term durability and traditional styling, or fiberglass if you want color-matching options or prefer lighter weight.

How difficult is the installation, and what tools will I need?

Installation typically takes 2-3 hours and requires basic hand tools including a drill, 3/8" and 1/2" drill bits, socket set, and silicone sealant. Most visors use existing cab mounting points, but some models require drilling 4-6 new holes. The main challenges include properly aligning the visor before drilling and ensuring a weather-tight seal. Many customers successfully install these themselves, though professional installation is recommended if you're uncomfortable drilling into your cab.

What sizes and drop lengths are available for W900B/W900L visors?

Standard visor drops range from 5 inches to 20 inches, with 9-inch, 12-inch, and 15-inch being the most popular sizes. The drop is measured from the mounting point to the bottom edge of the visor. Longer drops provide more sun protection but may affect forward visibility and wind resistance. Most drivers find 12-15 inches offers the best balance of functionality and aesthetics for long-haul applications.

Do these visors come with mounting hardware and instructions?

Yes, most of our Kenworth W900B/W900L visors include complete mounting hardware kits with brackets, bolts, washers, and rubber gaskets. Installation instructions are typically included, though detail levels vary by manufacturer. Some economy models may require you to reuse existing brackets or purchase mounting kits separately - always check the "What's Included" section of each product listing to verify hardware inclusion.
