Kenworth T660 Interior Dash Trim

Frequently Asked Questions About Kenworth T660 Interior Dash Trim

What is included in Kenworth T660 interior dash trim kits?

This category covers the decorative and functional trim pieces that surround the dashboard area of the Kenworth T660, including dash panel overlays, bezels, trim covers, and accent pieces used to finish out the interior cab. These parts are typically cosmetic upgrades or replacements for cracked, faded, or missing factory trim components.

Will this dash trim fit my specific Kenworth T660 model year?

Kenworth T660 dash layouts can vary slightly depending on the production year and cab configuration, so its important to check the fitment notes listed on each product page before ordering. If you are unsure whether a piece will match your dash layout, comparing the shape and mounting points of your existing trim to the product photos is the best way to confirm compatibility.

What materials and finish options are available?

Dash trim pieces are commonly available in materials such as ABS plastic, wood grain laminate, and brushed or polished metal finishes. The finish you choose should complement the rest of your interior, and its worth noting that finishes can vary slightly in color and texture between manufacturers, so reviewing product images closely is recommended.

How difficult is it to install replacement dash trim?

Most dash trim pieces are designed to install using the existing factory mounting points, screws, or clips, making them a straightforward bolt-on or snap-in replacement for most installers. Basic hand tools are typically all that is needed, though some pieces may require you to remove surrounding trim or panels first to access mounting hardware.

Will installing new dash trim affect my existing gauges, switches, or wiring?

In most cases, dash trim is purely cosmetic and does not require any rewiring or disconnection of electrical components. However, if the trim piece surrounds switches, vents, or gauge clusters, you may need to carefully remove those components first to install the new trim, then reinstall them once the trim is in place.
