BESTfit Fiberglass Hood Shell Replaces F81Z-16612BB For Ford F650, F750, F850, B650 & B750
Initial inspection suggests that the product closely matches shape and fit of the original front-end. Our primary complaint is that the mounting holes for the hinges were not accurately formed/drilled, which we only found out after priming and painting the front-end and attempting to mount it. Also, the grill opening is about 1/4" too small in both directions for the grille to be inserted properly (we wound up grinding close to 1/2" off the grille to get it to fit). One more thing: while the front-end was crated with hardwood for transport, it was not adequately padded or protected. Someone obviously damaged the hardwood crating lumber with a forklift, the lumber then scratched/scuffed our new front end. The product looked nice after installed, but I have to wonder if the other front end that was available for another $500 might have been a better product?
